Martín Krause graduated as Doctor in Administration in 1978 from the Catholic University of La Plata. Since then he has dedicated himself to academic and consulting work in economics.
In 1998, he was elected Full Professor of Economics at the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires, where he was also a professor at the Faculty of Economic Sciences. He is a professor at ESEADE (Buenos Aires), UCEMA (Buenos Aires); a visiting professor at Francisco Marroquín University in Guatemala and a professor at the University of the Hesperides in Spain. He was a professor and rector of the ESEADE postgraduate school.
He is a member of the Board of the Mont Pelerin Society, Adjunct Scholar of the Cato Institute and of the Academic Council of the Foundation Libertad y Progreso (Buenos Aires).
He has received several awards and scholarships, among which are the 2007 Annual Prize of the Academy of Sciences of the City of Buenos Aires “Law & Economics”, the Eisenhower Exchange Fellowships in 1993 and the Freedom Project of the John Templeton Foundation in 1999 and 2000. He has participated as a speaker in dozens of seminars and meetings, and as an observer in various electoral processes around the world.
He has published several books:

Axel Kaiser Barents von Hohenhagen, He is Chilean-German, a lawyer, Master in Investments, Commerce and Arbitration, Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Heidelberg (Germany). He is a Senior Fellow at Archbridge Institute, Washington DC. He is an international speaker and author of several books best seller among them The Populist Deception (Deusto, 2016), The Pope and capitalism (2018), The Tyranny of Equality (El Mercurio, 2015) The fatal ignorance (2009) and The Neo Inquisition (Deusto 2020) and The Street Economist Deusto 2022. The latter became the best-selling economics book in Chile's history and in best seller in various countries. It has currently been published in five languages. A 2021 study by Johns Hopkins University ranked it in third place among the most cited papers in the field.
