Executive Management

The Executive Directorate directs the objectives of the Faro Foundation, leading the creation and oversight of programs and projects that promote economic liberalism and Argentine historical values. Presided by Agustín Laje, its central role is to ensure that all of the Foundation’s initiatives are aligned with its founding principles, promoting economic and social development through education, leadership development, and the dissemination of ideas of freedom.

Agustín Laje

Agustín Laje holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the Catholic University of Córdoba. He specializes in counterterrorism at the National Defense University in Washington DC. He holds a Master's degree in Philosophy from the University of Navarra, and is currently a doctoral candidate in Philosophy at the same university.
He is the author of numerous best-selling books. Among them: “The Black Book of the New Left”, “The Cultural Battle” and “Idiots Generation”. He has just published his new book, “Globalism”, which is already at the top of the Amazon sales charts.
He has given lectures in most of the countries of the American continent. A ranking published by Forbes magazine considered him “the most influential independent voice of the right in the Spanish-speaking world.” On social media, he has over 5 million followers.

Axel Kaiser

Axel Kaiser Barents von Hohenhagen, He is Chilean-German, a lawyer, Master in Investments, Commerce and Arbitration, Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Heidelberg (Germany). He is a Senior Fellow at Archbridge Institute, Washington DC. He has been a Visiting Scholar at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University and co-founder and president of the Foundation for Progress, one of the most influential liberal think tanks in Hispanic America.

His writings have won various national and international awards such as the Hayek Essay Contest of the Mont Pelerin Society, the Caminos de la Libertad competition of the Salinas Group in Mexico. He is a columnist for newspapers Financial y El Mercurio and his opinions have been published in international media such as The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Newsweek, The Washington Examiner, Quillette, Forbes.com, La Nación de Argentina and El Mundo de España, among others. He is an international speaker and author of several books best seller among them The Populist Deception (Deusto, 2016), The Pope and capitalism (2018), The Tyranny of Equality (El Mercurio, 2015) The fatal ignorance (2009) and The Neo Inquisition (Deusto 2020) and The Street Economist Deusto 2022. The latter became the best-selling economics book in Chile's history and in best seller in various countries. It has currently been published in five languages. A 2021 study by Johns Hopkins University ranked it in third place among the most cited papers in the field.
