This work analyzes the incompatibility between the post-modern progressive ideology and Friedrich Hayek’s classical liberal philosophy. The author examines how the current “tribalism” and identity politics in universities represent a regression towards collectivist doctrines that threaten individual freedom and the foundations of Western civilization. Using the intellectual tools of The Foundations of Liberty, the paper offers a profound critique of the woke culture and the abandonment of individual responsibility in favor of group identities.
